Days 1 & 2: Baghdad – Arrival, Cultural Heart & Babylon – Karbala
Day 1:
Arrive at Baghdad International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by our professional guide.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour visiting the National Museum of Iraq, showcasing Mesopotamia’s greatest civilizations.
Stroll through Rashid Street and Al-Mutanabbi Street, the vibrant cultural and literary heart of Baghdad.
Enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the Tigris River, offering a unique perspective of Baghdad from the water.
The day concludes with a visit to the Al-Kadhimiya Shrine, a revered holy site distinguished by its golden domes and spiritual atmosphere.
Overnight in Baghdad.
Day 2:
Depart Baghdad and head to the legendary city of Babylon, once the center of the ancient world.
Visit the Lion of Babylon and the panoramic remains of Saddam’s Palace, overlooking the ruins.
Continue to Karbala to visit the sacred shrines of Imam Hussein and Imam Abbas, major spiritual landmarks of Islam.
Days 3 & 4: Karbala – Najaf – Nasiriyah & Marshlands – Basra
Day 3:
Begin the day with a visit to Al-Ukhaider Fortress, a remarkable example of early Islamic military architecture.
Visit Al-Uqayser Church, reflecting Iraq’s diverse religious heritage.
Continue to Najaf to visit the Imam Ali Holy Shrine and explore Wadi Al-Salam Cemetery, the largest cemetery in the world
Later, visit the Ziggurat of Ur, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Mesopotamia.
Overnight in Nasiriyah.
Day 4:
Visit the UNESCO-listed Mesopotamian Marshlands, experiencing traditional boat rides through the waterways and observing local life.
Enjoy a sunset with a traditional Masgouf fish meal, grilled over a wood fire.
Continue to Basra for a relaxing boat ride along the Shatt Al-Arab, offering scenic views of palm trees and waterways.

Days 5 & 6: Basra – Baghdad & Baghdad – Samarra – Hatra – Mosul
Day 5:
Explore the Basra Museum and Al-Hasoon Museum, highlighting the region’s rich history.
Walk through the historic Shanasheel houses, known for their wooden balconies and traditional architecture.
In the afternoon, drive back to Baghdad, with free time in the evening or an optional visit to a modern district and café for a contemporary experience.

Day 6:
Drive to Samarra to see the iconic Al-Malwiya Spiral Minaret and the Great Mosque of Samarra, masterpieces of Abbasid architecture.
Continue north to Hatra, a UNESCO World Heritage site and ancient desert kingdom blending Eastern and Western architectural influences.

Days 7 & 8: Mosul – Erbil & Departure
Day 7:
Enjoy an early city tour of Mosul, discovering the city’s historical and cultural revival.
Drive to Erbil, where you will visit the Erbil Citadel, one of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in the world.
Enjoy free time for shopping at the local bazaar and take photos near the city fountain.
Overnight in Erbil.
Day 8:
After checking out, you will be transferred to Erbil International Airport for your departure.
