Upon arrival at Baghdad International Airport, guests are warmly welcomed by our professional guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in.The day begins with an introduction to the capital through a city tour, including Tahrir Square and Firdos Square, both iconic landmarks reflecting Baghdad’s modern history.Visit the Martyr’s Monument, a striking tribute to Iraq’s national memory.End the day with a spiritual experience at the Al-Kadhimiya Shrines, offering a profound glimpse into Iraq’s religious heritage.

Day 2:
day 2 starts with the Ziggurat of Aqar Quf, one of Iraq’s most impressive and well-preserved ancient monuments Dating back to the Kassite period and then the iraqi national museum. Explore Baghdad’s cultural treasures, starting with the National Museum of Iraq, housing invaluable Mesopotamian artifacts.Stroll along Al-Rashid Street and Al-Mutanabbi Street, the city’s historic and literary hub.Enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the Tigris River with scenic views of Baghdad.

Day 3 & Day 4: Baghdad - Babylon - Karbala - Najaf

Day 3: The tour heads south to the legendary city of Babylon, where guests explore the ancient ruins, including the famous Lion of Babylon, a symbol of power and protection. They also visit the nearby Saddam Palace, offering a unique view of the archaeological site. The day concludes in Karbala, where guests visit the sacred shrines of Imam Hussein and Imam Abbas, two of the most significant and revered figures in Islamic history.

Day 4: On this day, guests start with a visit to Al-Ukhaider Fortress, an exceptional example of early Islamic military architecture, followed by a visit to Al-Uqayser Church, a historic Christian site in Karbala. The journey continues to Najaf, where they visit the Imam Ali Shrine, one of the holiest sites in Islam. The day also includes a visit to Wadi Al-Salam, the largest cemetery in the world, which holds significant religious importance.

Day 5 & Day 6: Najaf - Marshlands (Nasiriyah) - Ziggurat of Ur - Basra

Day 5: Guests travel to Nasiriyah to explore the UNESCO-listed Mesopotamian Marshlands, a unique and vital ecosystem. They enjoy a traditional boat ride through the waterways and experience the famous Masgouf, a grilled fish cooked in the traditional style over a wood fire.

Day 6: The day begins with a visit to the Great Ziggurat of Ur, one of the most important architectural wonders of ancient Sumer. Afterward, the journey continues to Basra, where guests enjoy a stroll along the Corniche, a boat ride on the Shatt Al-Arab River, and a visit to the historic Shanasheel district, known for its traditional wooden houses.

Day 7 & Day 8: Basra - Baghdad - Samarra - Hatra - Mosul

Day 7: Guests start the day by visiting the Basra Museum and Al-Hasoon Museum to explore Iraq’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. Afterward, the journey heads back to Baghdad. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy free time or visit a modern district for a café experience in contemporary Baghdad.

Day 8: The tour continues north to Samarra, where guests admire the Malwiya Minaret, an extraordinary spiral tower, and visit the Great Mosque of Samarra, one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world. Afterward, they continue to Nineveh to explore Hatra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an ancient fortified city known for its Roman, Parthian, and Eastern architectural influences. The day ends in Mosul

Day 9 & Day 10: Mosul City Tour - Duhok - Amadiya

Day 9: Guests will explore Mosul, including visiting the destroyed areas of the city, reflecting on its recent history. The tour includes the Al-Hadbaa Minaret and the Grand Mosque, as well as the ancient walls of Nineveh, offering a glimpse into one of the world’s oldest cities.

Day 10: The journey continues to Duhok, and then on to Amadiya, a picturesque mountaintop city with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can explore the town and enjoy the natural beauty of this scenic region.

Day 11 & Day 12: Duhok - Erbil - Shaqlawa

Day 11: Guests travel to Erbil, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. They visit the Citadel of Erbil, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy some free time to explore the central fountain and local bazaars, ideal for shopping and photography.

Day 12: The day starts with a trip to Shaqlawa, a charming town known for its scenic waterfalls and picturesque landscapes. Guests will enjoy a full city tour, exploring the stunning mountain roads and panoramic views, perfect for photography and relaxation.

Day 13 & Day 14: Erbil - Rawanduz - Departure

Day 13: Guests travel to Rawanduz, home to Iraq’s largest and most impressive valley. The natural beauty of the mountains and valleys makes this day a highlight for landscape photography and exploration.

Day 14: On the final day, guests have some free time for shopping or a leisurely stroll around Erbil before being transferred to Erbil International Airport for departure, marking the end of this unforgettable journey through Iraq’s heritage, landscapes, and living culture.
